Where is the mouse cursor when the 'jump' occurs? I'm betting if you get it out of the way of the dropdown, the problem goes away.

When I use the keyboard keys UP and DOWN to move through the list, I sometimes notice a 'jump' across several records. This occurs whether I click the up or down arrow keys quickly or slowly. It is not on the same records each time. I can usually backup and select the record that was passed over.
