We use a program from Hummingbird for downloads from our Tandem. Currently, it uses a DAL connection which is apparently some sort of middleware. I'm not happy with it at all, but it is useable. We're supposed to be getting an ODBC driver last July < G >. At any rate, the BI-query program is a half baked OLE Server. So, you can launch it from VFP, but it doesn't expose enough for you to change your default settings or tell it you want to save the results of the query to a file, so I used OLE to launch the app, and a sendkeys ocx from the UT to drive it. I download our warrant file each day (approx 55k records) at the local attorney general's office and put the data on our web site (Web Connect) for the investigators to hit.
