Hi Paul -
One of the things we stress to our clients, when discussing rates, is that we've spent years developing tools and technologies that give us a competitive edge over other developers. So while the client may be considering, for example, a development house that charges $40/hour but has to develop everything from scratch each time versus paying us $60/hour (hypothetical rate <s>), or 50% more, and it takes the other development house 3 times as long to deliver, doesn't the client benefit in the end?
