thanx Steven- After I set Palette off I didn't see any improvement
the colors are slightly off and the edges are not Sharp - almost like looking at the picture through a soft granite texture glass with a slight discoloration.
The bitmaps are not out of focus as seen from other picture viewers.
My best description would probably be that the screen resolution is like 64.. instead of 256 color.
Any Ideas?
