I need to use INDEXSEEK() in order to activate alarms when an event is past its date due. The reason in using this function is to leave unaltered the record pointer position in the events table; since the timer control may trigger the alarm when time comes, anywhere in the program. For the first ocurrence, the timer method works neat, but how can INDEXSEEK() the next record counting from the actual position ?

In other words how can I simulate a LOCATE FOR...CONTINUE or SCAN FOR...ENDSCAN using INDEXSEEK() for the sake of not moving the pointer ?
