I've tried that variation of the LOCATE command and every other combination I can think of. There is only one table in use. Is there anything that may be causing LOCATE to not work properly?

I cannot use a SELECT command either since the user should be able to enter the exact string which is contained in the field being searched on, and still be able to move before and after the part number that is retrieved via the VCR buttons on the form.
