Title:
Don't Hide your Temp!
I don't know if this was covered before or not so here goes.
On development system A, I was creating forms from classes just fine. Then I went to system B and could not create new forms at all. It turns out that the temporary directory on sys A (z:\wintemp) was in plain view in the explorer, but the temporary directory on sys B (e:\wintemp) had the hidden attribute set. So it seems like if the user can't see it, the Fox can't see it either. Sys A is NT ServerSP5/VFP6(SP3) and Sys B is NT WorkstationSP5/VFP6(SP3).
FYI.
Keywords for you
