Hi Doug.

>Can you retrieve the printer name using the PROMPT instead of GETPRINTER(), and then use this for reports printed immediately after the first report?

I'm not sure if REPORT FORM PROMPT changes this or not, but you could try using SET('PRINTER', 2).
