Hi Fred. I think this was solution proposed a few months ago. Let's see if he goes for it this time.

>I have a client who uses invoices one white copy & one yellow copy.. The printer supplies the pre printed invoices one white & one yellow. ie every second invoice will be a white one..
>
>Add a new printer in the Control Panel and then set the default tray to the Middle , top or bottom.
>Then Call this printer Invoice Printer..
>
>Then From VFP have a routine which U can set up this Printer(invoice printer)as the default printer to print Invoices..
>
>Then When Printing Invoices Use the Set Printer Name command and then do your report..
>
>You should print your report twice so one is on white copy & one is on yellow copy..
>
>Make sure to Remove the two fields in the FRX file before building your project..

>>>Hey FoxFolx!

>>>I asked this a few months ago, and didn't get much of a response. Is there any chance anyone has a solution to this puzzler:
>>>
>>>Have a client who DESPERATELY wants to keep using Colored paper for each different copy of an Invoice. Doesn't want to go the DotMatrix multi-form route. I know there is paper that can be bought interleafed in color, but it's too 'iffy' (in case the paper jams).
>>>
>>>Has anyone figured out ANY routine for ANY printer where the different copies can be fired to a different paper tray on the printer? (Would need a multi-trayed printer, obviously). We're ready to require a specific printer-- if the solution can be found.
>>>
>>>Any chance? Has anyone tackled this one?
>>>
>>>Thanks in advance for all your help -- especially the regulars who have helped me on some other questions in the past! (Feel free to E-Mail me SBT questions -- that's my one field of expertise. I'd like to 'pay back' the help that has been given to me.)

>>I would start to fight this problem by creating report form with Print Setup pointed to particular tray. Then I would save the form and look at Expr field in frx file. If I would find something tray-specific there then I'm on right track, because I could distribute this form as separate file and hack the field on fly. Surely, it's all might be totally wrong, but you may check it.
