Don't worry about it too much for now. You will know her for about 14 years before she start thinking about it (if she does and if it is still in vogue in 14 years). It's not like you suddenly have a 14 year old girl that you have to raise.

I have a girl of age 4 and a half. I too had the same fear at first, but I decided to take it one day at a time and one problem at a time. It work well for me now. Of course, as they said, the problems grow with the age... :)

As for how it is to raise a girl, it's fantastic! Of course, I'm baised because I don't have a boy, but what I can say is that a girl is much more closer to her father at younger age. A boy, from what I've heard and seen, is much more closer to his mother. I know that when she will grow older, she will be more closer to her mother, but for now I enjoy it :)
