The update6 utility has some limitations that need to be addressed. The utility assumes that you are renaming the parent directory of the new framework with the same name as the old one. It also assumes that the directory exists on the same drive. Also, if there are any custom class libraries that have been added to the project, the utility will go into a never ending loop until you finally abort. This trashes the project.

Unforutunately, I need to keep some of my projects in older versions of the framework. This utility forces all projects to be upgraded. It would be nice if the utility would copy all the prg's, vcx, .h's into the project for me.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, which may well be the case. Maybe the instructions could be a little clearer?
