It is doing it for any record that was edited. It doesn't matter what field it is. Tableupdate returns .t. but then the backend data sources don't change and the record in the view disappears. Weird.
>PMFJI this may be too obvious, so you probably already checked it, but can you update the other fields in the record? Maybe you are having some other sort of wierd problem. How about if you replace somefield with somefield and then try your update, does that work better?
