I assume that by 'interactive search' you mean the same as incremental search.

Look at MS Knowledge base article Q137125. Also 150753, 166378, 95674.

Also, in the 'Solution samples' help files is a code sample for incremental search in the article "Add New Items to a Combo Box". Go to the index and find 'search', then scroll to the bottom of the page.

I'm still looking for another example I saw.....
