I know you are using VFP 5 without Install SP3 (Service Pack) and you have
use a Combox/Listbox at the same Form!!

What you should do after the Append Blank ?

Select ChildTable
Append Blank
ThisForm.Refresh
GO -1
ThisForm.Refresh
