I had the same problem also on some occasion when Outlook and/or IE was open. Win98 didn't freeze, but FPW wouldn't start. Another problem I had, was "Not enough memory".

I've heard that Outlook grab nearly all available memory when it start. So when I have one of these problems, I close all the applications, start FPW first and the rest after.

>I have found that occasionally if I launch FPW with MS Outlook or IE also running (typically Outlook), that FPW will appear to hang until I close those programs down. Then it finishes launching like normal. If it only appears to freeze under certain situations, avoid those situations.
