Well it looks like Floyd has canceled his appearence for South Florida. Did'nt get much of anything here in Fort Lauderdale. Little sand washed up on the beach but nothing major. The Bahamas took a major beating and very little information is available about what it's like there. Everyone is assuming it's pretty bad. North Eluethra Island had 140+ winds for 2-3 hours.
What an amazingly large storm. I just checked Yahoo for the latest satellite image. It's now covering the entire eastern coast of the US.
