Hi John.

Two ideas:
- step through the code with the debugger in both the situation where the control causes a crash and where it doesn't. See if you can notice any differnce in the environment
- put the MSCOMM control onto a form with no other code or controls. Do this work?

> I have a form that contain olecontrol - MSCOMM.ocx, It works great if I launch it independently, IOW launch from Project Manager or DO FORM command from Command Window. But, VFP gives me FATAL ERROR C5 if I launch it from Other form or menu (If I launch the form first, close it and call from menu it will work fine). It is same result even I built it in EXE. I have alreadi installed SP3.
