>hello, everybody. i had question about ODBC performance here. We need create a cursor inside MS SQL Server which was joined from two tables each contained 10,000 records. SQL commands to create cursor took about 5~8 seconds when executed from ISQL.EXE but it takes more than 50 seconds if it's sent by VFP SQL pass through via ODBC. Can anybody had same experience give me some suggestion on ODBC performance tuning?

Do you have the lastest ODBC driver (available from Microsoft VFP web site)? I havent used it, but it is supposed to be faster.
