I have a field on my form that is used as a picklist from another file. Right now the rowsourse is set as FIELDS and I list the fields I want in the list. The last field in the list is the fileid that is used and stored in the main file for crossreference.

I have an index on this subsequent file so that the records are in order. In the DE for the form, I set the ORDER for this subsequent file to the field index name accordingly.

When I drop the list, it is in "input" order and not ordered by the index. Is this because this technically is the 4th file on this form in the DE? Is there a way to get the sort correct for the picklist?
