Use ShFileOperation() Win32 API. It can copy, delete, move, etc. exactly like Win Exp. In fact, Win Explorer uses this function.

>Along this same question, does anyone know how to erase a file/folder and have it put into the recycle bin( the way microsoft does it). I would like to have the backup files moved to the recycle bin for easy recovery. Also is there a way to empty the recycle bin through code?
