If I understand you correctly, you are saying that the new blank record appears at the top of the grid and you want the newly appended record to display at the bottom.

You probably have the grid's RecordSource ordered by some index tag. That is why the newly appended record appears at the top. If you want it to be the last one, you need to temporarily SET ORDER TO before you append the record and then reset the order after the new record is editted.
