Well we were spared here in Orlando. Had some wind gusts report as high as 50 mph, but most of the gusts remained around 30. Tuesday afternoon helped a group of neighbors remove a 30+ foot tree limb that sheared off an old oak 200 feet from my house. The limb, fed by gravity, shot straight through the roof of a neighbors house. No one was hurt but it took 8 men and ropes to hold the limb in place while the chainsaw cut it up into managable sizes. Had a 25-30 limb take out a power line and block the road next to my house Wed around 4:00 am from another gust. Other than that, it was uneventful (thankfully) here in Orlando. Daytona Pier was partially wiped out from the aftermath surge. John, did you get your daughter out?

Our thoughts are with the Carolinas and the rest of the Eastern seaboard now...
