I sometimes am not clear of what I mean. The information I want to populate the grid with is in it's own table such as the PRODUCTS table. I want to enter the product number in the first column of the grid (in a particular record), and a few other specified fields automatically populate. The records that would automatically popluate conatin information about the products number and they are in the products table, such as description, serial number, etc. It's kind of like putting in a customer number and getting the customer information to populate the form automatically.
I'm also having a problem getting records I delete in the grid to disappear. A refresh doesn't help, and one suggestion was to FILTER on !DELETED to kind of fix the problem. As I do a DEBUG, I notice the SET("DELETED") value changes, thus explaining technincally why it is showing deleted records, but why is this happening? I have no code that I know of that would do this.
Also, my biggest problem is with 3 grids on a form, has to be that way. This part of the app tracks student's courses. There are 3 types of courses (R)equired, (C)oncentration, and (O)ther. I couldn't use th
