I'm using MS Word as an automation server to do certain reports. It requires VBA programs that make use of Word mail merge functions using ODBC drivers. That all works on my developement machines, but how do I make sure the appropriate ODBC drivers are installed on my customer's remote (sales force notebooks) systems when I ship an EXE. I'm looking at MS's MDAC_TYP.EXE and DCOM95.EXE, but some of the details elude me. (Bind those into the .exe? Run as an after-install executable? If so how to get a 6mb file included in the install disk set? And so forth....)
