This is one I just don't get.

The app is in VFP 5. I have a very simple grid on a very simple form. The grid has 4 columns. Each column has the ControlSource set to , but the Textbox controls of each column contain the correct ControlSource. (In fact this is the default behavior of how the grid wizard sets it up.) It worked originally, built with the grid wizard containing 3 columns, but after I added the 4th (manually), everything headed south.

Does anyone know why, oh why the ControlSource of the textboxes is apparently ignored? The results I get when running the form are the first 4 sequential fields in the table, not even close to what the control sources are.

I can put the ControlSource in the columns too, and that corrects the problem. But... there's just got to be a reason for this.
