Hi Matt ---

What is the setting of the Bound property in the column? If set to .T., with a blank ControlSource in the Column, VFP will see that there is a four column Grid that it's can't figure out and will put the first four fields of the table as the columns.

BTW, why not set the ControlSource at the Column, set Bound to .T. and be done with it? Why torture yourself?
