Topic: XML


As you may recall, last season we ended with an extensive presentation
on HTML given by your NNJ Foxuser team. We are happy to open the new
season with a return visit from Kamal Patel who will be speaking about
XML -- Extended Markup Language.

The talk will cover a brief history of XML, its architecture and new
drivers which make it all possible. Topics to be discussed will
include: the Document Object model and data access methods. Of
course, Kamal will have plenty of sample code as usual.

XML is certainly one of the "HOT" topics as far as internet apps are
concerned and I am sure that as always, Kamal's talk will prove to be
most interesting.

Kamal Patel is a Senior Software Engineer at Flash Creative Management Inc.
He has a degree in Computer Engineering and is a Microsoft Certified Product
Specialist. He also specializes in Database Applications, developing
classes,
customized tools and Client-Server applications. He has written articles for
FoxPro Advisor and is a frequent speaker at user meetings.
