That comment was really more in response to
Walter's comment. I don't think I've heard
anyone requesting that VFP become strongly(??)
typed, but what my original post was requesting
was a way of having the compiler flag it if we
haven't declared a variable prior to using it.
This would help catch typo's as well as spurious
modification of non-scoped variable references.
