>>I had in the past looked at the view for the recordsource. It is missed up just like the gird shows! I didn't have the grids RecordSource filled in, did that, it made no difference. <s>. I can move back and forth between page one and two all day and everything is OK. If I bring up the editForm and either do an OK or Cancel then return to orignal form then move the record pointer on page one so as to edit another record then the data is misses up. Have you tried this with two grids reading a filtered set of records on page one and then by selecting one record get a more complete set from the same table on page two, then doing an edit form to change the record on page 2?>

Are you saying you've tried this before? I'll give the Cancel breakpoint a try (if I can figure out how to do it), but I don't know much about the Visual Foxpro commands or the Mere Mortal Framework to see a problem in the code or a problem with Visual Foxpro. If you could also take a look using the senerio that I'm using I'd appreciate it, that would save me hours or days of head scratching. Frankly, I wouldn't notice a problem even if the code was underlined and highlighted, I'd just think that the inderlining and highlighting was a neat feature of Visual Foxpro. <s>
