Couple of ideas:

6 is stricter about dangling references than 5, that was causing me to get that error (even after I installed SP3). As Evan says, you need to narrow it down. Use the debugger if possible. If the crash wipes out the debugger, try using the coverage log, you may get the location of the crash from the last entry of the log, possibly, that may be quicker than walking through the debugger for a prolonged time...

If it only occurs on some non-vfp machines, you may need to do a temp install of 6 to debug on local machine...and lastly, if it's on a vfp machine, you may want to do a total uninstall/re-install, several of us had to do that after an upgrade to SP3.
