Hi Don ----

Been there recently. My attempts to run the screen SPR files from 2.6 screens in VFP was less than spectacular. I ended up creating new VFP forms and re-engineering them. Anyway, even if you get the SPRs to work, any new forms are going to look and act differently, killing off any application consistancy. You can, usually, cut and paste 2.6 snippet code into the equivalent events/methods in VFP, saving some time in recoding.

As to comparing 2.6 code from copies to originals, look at PVCS. It's similar to Visual SourceSafe but is more generic and can handle FPW2.6.

Is it possible to move the application to 6.0 and run the screens as programs (code tab) at the same time develop new forms with Visual Fox and keep everything in the same project ? We've debated this at work back and forth and to tell the truth not sure if this is really feasible in the first place.
