>Glad that you passed through it without much damage. It will be our turn today, as they predict heavy rain and high winds when Floyd tail reach us. But Floyd as lost much of it power, so we do not anticipate big damage here.
It seemed like we were riding the coat tails of the worst of it, but man the winds were absolutely wicked. The hubby an I sat watching a big old maple tree on the corner of neighbor's property last night as it bent almost it half. < g > well actaully we were cheering and betting on when it was coming down (it's not close to any homes but faithfully dumps at least 10 hours worth of leaves to rake in our yard every fall). < sigh > Said tree is still there this morning, and still had plenty of leaves to dump in a few weeks.
