You all can thank us folks in NC for beating the crap out of Floyd before we let him loose on the rest of the East coast, just like every other storm in the last four years. Of course no one can get in or out of the eastern part of the state, due to flooding. 40,70,26 all major roads under water. But I'll still take the storms over the earth moving with no advanced notice.

>Glad that you passed through it without much damage. It will be our turn today, as they predict heavy rain and high winds when Floyd tail reach us. But Floyd as lost much of it power, so we do not anticipate big damage here.

>Hurricane (or was it Tropical Storm?) Floyd passed thru Flannel Land Pennsylvania dumping an estimated 2 feet of water and ripping thru with winds in excess of 50 mph. This after reaping much havoc up the the eastern US coast. Unlike the devastation seen on televised newscasts, Flannel Land mostly suffered BFM... big ****ing mess. Trees are down, powerlines are out, minor flash flooding, but no fatalities listed in this morning's paper.
