The 16384 limit was from Excel, not FP, I'm quite sure. But you're right that vfp has fallen behind in the 'staying in sync' row limit race, since Excel upped their row limit in (was it in Excel6)? I think it was Excel 3/4 that had a 4000 row limit, I remember bumping into that, when FP was "ahead" in the row limit race :) And Excel5 had the 16384, was it? Something like that...
