I have a VFP 5 application that hits an Access table. I have a Remote view set up that uses an ODBC connection to my Access data.
If my remote view connects to an Access *Table*, I am able to delete records in my view and successfully update the Access Data with a TableUpdate().
If my remote view conneccts to an Access *Query* that access the same (or different) table, the same process fails with the following error: "Connectivity Error: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access 7.0 Driver] Couldn't delete from specified tables."
This happens regardless of table buffering or row buffering. Also note that within Access, I can delete records from the query, so it seems to be a VFP or ODBC problem.
I am using Windows 95 Professional, Access 7.0 that came with W95Pro, and VFP 5.0. Access ODBC driver is version 3.40.2829. I have searched the MS knowledge base (both Access and VFP) and the foxpro newsgroups, so any insight would be most helpful.
