Well, when I say the winds never got real high, I mean like 90 mph. They were over 50, I think. There were a lot of news items this morning showing trees through house roofs, cars smashed by trees, power outages, and live wires in the DC area. But it was nothing like the Big Ice Storm in January that mainly hit just my local area in MD. In fact, I think that helped spare my area yesterday, all the precarious trees had already been toppled during the ice storm :)
