This is where your parameter /s are too wide. To bring down everything for the day to multiple workstations and have each one update the backend will probably lose updates somewhere. And finding out what was axed is going to get tough.

What If you only brough down a specific clients jobs for the day? Then the chance that 2 updates don't undo one anothers updates.

This could be more than you need and maybe only one person would ever pull down the data at any one time and rarely ever have 2 people doing it. So it's your system and I was trying to give you a heads up on the possible shooting of your foot here.
