probably! But I don't know it. However, I seem to remember creating code to do that in FP26 which would work in vfp. You run the dos 'Vol' command to a file with a command "Run vol>(path)\voldata.txt"

Then read the bottom line either with a lowlevel call or by appending it to a suitable empty table and reading the last record...
