I seem to be having difficulty understanding what needs to be done when creating OLE Public COM objects. I have downloaded version 6 of MM and ran the Update6 program on my database. Everything seemed to be OK. However, the business object that I have made OLE public does not want to work properly. The object instantiates and functions properly if I issue a createobject('mybizobj') and run it from the VFP command window. However, if I try to create the object as an OLE public object using createobject('myproj.mybizobj'), I have come to find that the views are never loaded! I have added some strtofile() commands and found that the path is set properly and the tables are available in the path, yet it doesn't work. The wierd thing is that the object does not set any errors in the aerrormsg() array for the business object. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
