I tried what you said and think I need to expand on my question. The problem I am having is that the business object should automatically be opening my databases and tables/views. However, this is not the case. When I instantiate the object as a regular class, everything works fine; however when I instantiate the object as a COM server, none of the data is automatically opened by the COM server. I know I cannot see the data because of the separation between the COM object and the VFP window, but I have added the STRTOFILE lines that tell me if the tables/views/databases are open, and they are not. Also, something I forgot to mention earlier was that I have the lAutoCOMInit set to true.
