Launching a data-entry screen from the Mainmenu of my FoxPro2.6a app takes 2 seconds.
In this time the app must open 38 tables and set 10 indexes. The app and data are
on a Netware 3.12 server. The terminals are PII/128RAM/W95 boxes and are networked with
thin coax (BNC).

This same app has been converted to VFP6 and installed locally on these same boxes. It
uses the same data which resides on an NT4 Server. However, it takes 6-9 seconds to open
the tables!

Any guesses why the new system is slower?
