Randy, the "Exit field by Enter or Tab" is the same as SET CONFIRM ON - it means that typing more letters than specificed in the field will not put you into the next field.

As for your problem with Tab and Enter acting differently, have you checked you Keypress commands and your form KeyPreview property to see if code has been added there?
