Hi Derek,

I've never tried it with icon, but if you use bmp files, you must also use a mask file (.msk). In that case, if you want your bmp file to display exactly as you create it, your mask would be the same size as the bmp image and be all black. If you want some areas to be transparent, you make those parts white in the mask. You may be able to do create a mask file for an icon image as well, but like I said, I've only done it with BMP files. Check out the Fox.BMP and Fox.MSK files in the root of the VFP directory for an example. A mask file (and the bmp) can be created with MSPAINT.
