I'm dipping my toes into the n-Tier object model with VFP. I have read Jim Booth's article entitled 'Building Middle Tier Objects in Visual Foxpro.' My question is, what is an RDS data control? What is the difference between RDS and ADO, if any? What are the benefits/disadvantages of using one versus the other?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
