This is a shot in the dark, but here goes...
We are attempting to run our application on Terminal server, and are having a few problems. Our login system writes information into the registry that is read by other system modules (username, login, etc.) The problem we are having is in Terminal Server...
The Terminal server local_machine registry is shared by all users -we originally (in our regular c/s type setup) used the local_machine area to store this information, and this worked great because only one person can be in an NT system at a time. But, since these settings are shared on TS, when one person logs in - everything is Ok - but when subsequent users login to the system, the settings are changed to reflect the last login.
Alright then - 'Why not move the information to the current_user area'? I did that, and the same thing happens. When one person logs in the information for that person is updated in the current_user registry area. Then along comes user2, after he logs in, looking at the current_user information of user1 shows the login information for user2???
Any TS gurus out there? I know this is a little off the normal subject, but all the apps are written in VFP <g>.
