Earl came by a couple of years ago. But Harvey decided to head southeast overnight so it missed us (and Sarasota) completely. As for earthquakes, I grew up in CA so I've been through a couple. I haven't experienced a hurricane yet so I guess I'll just have to wait to make the comparison.
Oh! And in the small world department: my mother lives in Napa!
