Jeff,

SYS(3054) only applies to SELECT statements not filters.

Is this filtered table used in a grid? Grid are NOT Rushmore aware at all. Filter and grid don't go togehter well. You can replace the filter with a parameterized view to populate the grid and get much better preformance.
