>Do you remember hearing about the tornado in '85 or so (not sure of the year) that hit a building supply warehouse in Marietta?? (Hmmm, I think the place was called Wheeler's, but I'm not sure about that). It was one of those tornados that kept hitting and then popping back up off the ground, then bouncing back down ... anyway, it picked up a bunch of pink insulation from that warehouse and dropped it everywhere along it's path. It went directly over our house (we lived at least 10 miles away from the warehouse) at something like 5:00am (I remember hearing the roaring, even tho I had been sound asleep and just thought it was a lotta wind). When I finally got out of bed, I happened to look out the window to the front yard ... the entire neighborhood had pink insulation dangling from trees and scattered over everyone's front yard. It was hilarious ... that is, until I realized how lucky we were that the tornado had been in the air at that point and not on the ground!!

Yeah, I remember that one. You're lucky to have moved. One touched down in Marietta in the vicinity of the "Big Chicken" earlier this year (I think). Did some pretty good damage around South Cobb Pkwy.
