Alex,
The default emailer that appears when a mailto URL is used can be found under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mailto\shell\open\command.

You can change this setting in Explorer. Select View|Options and go to the File Types tab. Scroll down until you find URL:MailTo Protocol. You can edit this to change the email program.
