Everyone should be aware that Rational's integration with VB and VC++ sucks, and that all notion of "round trip engineering" is pure pretense. It just doesn't work. Clearly it's designed for 1) marketing oomph and 2) to help beginners who don't know how to code things themselves.
The Rational Rose object model is fully open, and a great OLE citizen, and anyone with just a little bit of smarts and time can create whay better VFP transformation systems than are available for those products.
It's important for everyone to realize that Rational's non-support for VFP is a blessing considering that if they did, it would be no better than what they have for VB and VC++, which is to say it's bogus snake oil and without real-world application whatsoever.
Just my 2 cents worth. Y'all can relax and realize that there is nothing in this whatsoever. Rational integration is actually worthless.

==================
Gee, why doesn't Rational see a market? ... the trend continues.
>It's the same old story. Rational doesn't see enough of a Fox market, so they didn't create any VFP stuff. If I remember right, John Peterson has some information in his book on how to add the VFP stuff to the VM menu, just like VB is there now.
